U.S. Healthcare System Ranks Last in Recent Report

Health care in the United States is a losing endeavor from the start. Big business and their lobbies have consistently protected their right for profits at the cost of the general populance’s well-being. A recently released report by the Commonwealth Fund gives evidence to this fact.

The report ranks the United States as the lowest of 11 industrialized countries when it comes to quality and efficiency of healthcare systems. The report goes on to point out that despite U.S. healthcare being the most expensive of those countries surveyed, it ranked lowest in quality of care.
